2nd Hub at Tekkekoy MEM

The 2nd Hub meeting of the "EduHack: Hacking Education" Project was held by Tekkeköy District Directorate of National Education with the participation of public institutions and private sector representatives on 29.06.2021 in Samsun Governorship Investment Monitoring and Coordination Presidency building.


12 people from public institutions and private sector attended the meeting: Hasan BALCI (Samsun Governorship, Deputy Governor), Zafer ÇOLAK (Provincial Directorate of Migration Management, Provincial Director), Altan KALKIN (Samsun Provincial Directorate of National Education, Branch Manager for Vocational Education), Lecturer . Member Osman ÖZKOÇ (Samsun Technopark, Assistant General Manager), Alper YILDIZ (Tekkeköy District Directorate of National Education, Branch Manager), Dr. Faculty Member Murat VURAL (Ondokuz Mayıs University Faculty of Education / Special Education Department Lecturer), Celalettin KAPÇAK (Samsun Youth and Sports Provincial Directorate, Specialist), Meltem YILAR (Samsun Provincial Directorate of Labor and Employment Agency, Job and Vocational Counselor), Erdem ŞAHİNKAYA (SAMPA Inc. Intellectual Property Chief / Project Execution), Müge PINAR (TED Samsun College, Teacher), Meltem TUNÇ (Tekkeköy District Directorate of National Education, Project Coordinator / Science and Technology Teacher), Ayla KELEŞ (Tekkeköy Municipality, Electronics Engineer) ).



The meeting lasted 120 minutes. In addition to discussing the key issues, the participants also engaged in networking activities. The Hub meeting enabled both different public institutions and the public-private sector to work together.



At the meeting, where it was aimed to identify the deficiencies and problems in education for all stakeholders, the participants also discussed how the pandemic process affected and shaped education. In the next phase of the project, a training hackathon will be organized using the data obtained from this meeting.
